Foxi's Nursery

This little Foxi girl is so very loved. I find myself gravitating towards this room, just to sit and stare and think. I find the kids in here just looking around or sitting and reading - this space is already so welcoming and ready to meet this sweet girl. It's a peaceful space, perfect for a little chonk.
Our story getting here is so our family - always testing ourselves, taking the leap and trusting in God.
After almost 7 years we thought we were complete as a family, but last year we felt drawn to have just one more - or try to! Dino got a reversal and from there, we left it up to God. After miscarrying before, it’s always a scary road but we were up for the journey and knew we could handle whatever life threw at us. 
And here we are, less than two months from meeting a miracle.
And pretty sure I am going to 'meet' her in this jacket I have pronounced my 'birthing jacket' - too much? Don't answer that!

We know this plan was meant just for us - Foxi is the real completion of our family and it was only right to deck out this space in all of the pretty things. This room just screams ‘We’re ready for you Foxi!’ and I am so excited to share this space with you. 

The shape of this room is so unique and it’s centrally located in the house so we all have access to cuddle at any whim! But, seriously you guys have been worried about that...we are a loud bunch (just watch a few of my instagram stories!) and we want her to be able to adjust to that. And learn to love it too!
I did a lot of personal touches in here, this flower arch over her crib was done with Mama Lor, as a simple but impactful DIY and the vintage bookshelf and rocking chair were Craigslist finds! You know I love me a good hunt!

I actually can't even tell you how obsessed I am with this crib . Like, I want to sleep in there and pull the blankets up to my chinny chin and just snooze the day away. And it's so special too because each of the kids, Dino and myself all put something together while building it. Oooo Foxi girl, you are just loved beyond belief.

ahhh you all know I live for a good Craigslist find and this one COULD NOT BE BETTER! It was one of the starting points, if you will! We just love this in the space - I always recommend looking at Craigslist if only just for inspo - you may find something super special that ties the entire space together! 

I will never regret that little disco ball and the magic it creates on the reg. This rug was an earlier pick for the space, and it seriously is even more gorgeous in real life! I love how each of the colors compliment a different part of the room. Perfection!
And we are so happy with these  window shades - they keep out just enough light, but they still make the room bright and cheery!

The little clothing rack in her room gives me serious #ootdvibes - and since this room was probably meant to be an office or a den, it doesn't have a closet, but this is just right for lil' Foxi. Naturally, I love that we can keep it simple, not over-buy for her and can just see all the little teeny weeny clothes - don't mini things just make you smile?

The Daybed is for when we have guests or when we may need to sleep close to Foxi and it is so pretty - love you Dino, but if you find me here, you know why! Paynes Gray can do no wrong! The light is from them as well - swoon-worthy!

Putting all her itty bitty clothes away made it so real! We are doin' this! Chonky! We can't wait to squeeze you!
