pillow cover round up

Waaaay back when, before my insta days, I would buy excessive amounts of pillows for our home. Ok I still love pillows, that hasn't changed at all. BUT Ive just changed the way I purchase them.

Pillows are one of my favorite things to swap out because they can update or change a room by simply swapping one out for another. After moving into the RV, I was kinda forced to either never buy another pillow again, or change up my game. So I started buying pillow covers from sweet home makers on Instagram. Not only was I now saving space, I was also supporting awesome men and women, by shopping small. The cost is slightly more, but I found that I used my pillow covers in really creative ways. One was on open shelving or in baskets, folded up. I love seeing the pattern and colors this way. I still buy with intention, and think about patterns and colors that will last and that I will want to pull out every season. In the end Im putting more thought into what I think will last + probably spending less.

Can't forget pillow inserts! Where to find them? My two favorite spots are Ikea and Homegoods clearance rack. I can usually find a down filled pillow in any size there for under $10.
