Our Bathroom Renovation
Our bathroom is officially done, and I've gotta say, this is my favorite bathroom we've ever done. It turned out beautifully. And I am over the moon happy about it!
The biggest thing you'll notice that we did was take out all of the storage drawers when you first walk in and put in a tub. We don't like to have more than we need, and that was just wayyyy too much storage for us that we weren't using. Plus, this is the perfect spot for a tub and the bathroom didn't have one before! And the WOW factor is just top notch. I mean, just look at her!
I flip flopped back and forth between the tiles. I couldn't decide if i wanted to do a dark shower and light floors or a light shower and dark floors. Ultimately, we went with the dark floors in a herringbone pattern and I love how they turned out! It's wild and fun and so us. Sometimes the little 'mistakes' turn out to be the biggest design wins! I also had them do border on the floor around the room to break it up a little and it was the right call for sure. Overall this space has transformed from non functional and overzealous with the storage to perfectly curated and just the right amount of storage to hold just what we need!
