Landscaping the Fox M. with Yardzen

The Fox Mercantile is officially open and my childhood dream of playing 'store' is my reality. I couldn't be more excited to welcome everyone!
The undertaking of this transformation was no. joke. There were blood, sweat, tears [ so many tears ] and laughs [ many more laughs ] throughout this whole project, but we are here. And it's amazing!
Probably the first WOW moment for us, was the landscaping changes. We had worked with Yardzen on Joie Inn's landscaping and I remember once they finished, I was like 'this is really happening'. It was SO gorgeous and do fresh and it felt real. Landscaping completely changed the outside, it was unique without being unattainable or hard to maintain. So when we purchased this property, I knew we had to get their ideas on paper! And of course, they sent us something magical...

Just like the Inn, we wanted it to be lush and unique but not be hard to maintain and work with. Plus it needed to be durable because of so much foot traffic. They came back with nothing short of perfect. The whole process working with them is simple from start to finish. You can choose your plan - ie: how much you want to change, budget and even give preferences on what you may or may like. They will take that information, look at your property and climate and send over *jaw dropping* plans. It's a really fun process.

Who remembers these spaces before? With their help, it was really easy to see my entire vision come to life. And look at all we have done! The landscaping continues to be one of my favorite things we've done. During the day, the shadows play such a calming role in the entire property, while at night it's like a magical little private space. Visitors during this process have said it's serene and coming in the gate is like walking into a a jungle - they're not wrong!!
We have started booking events too! Can you imagine celebrating under the stars in this lush space? It's a dream.

The Fox Mercantile is a place of homewares, coffee, gathering. So we can't wait to have you in the lush jungle, cozy and green garden area and under the pergola surrounded by vines. Yardzen really killed it with the planning, so grateful for their team!
