I really have this desire to bring things back to life right now - I am loving the challenge and satisfaction it brings, and it's also a great way to repurpose and save money!
This bathroom is our guest bathroom, adjacent to our living and dining space and although it's small, I really wanted it to be mighty!
I didn't want to replace the whole sink, so Dino worked so hard taking the old faucet off. I found a faucet on
Amazon
that I love so much that I want it for our kitchen now. It’s solid and looks super expensive and has the prettiest finish.
I got the hand lights on sale at Anthro
- and I just love them so much. They weren’t the cheapest, but I am so glad I splurged and got them! It made it a fun challenge to save in other parts of the bathroom. Another challenge, accepted!
I added a new simple and versatile
mirror from Target
and painted the existing toilet paper holder black. And then I painted the silver flusher on the toilet green, because why not?! Don't be afraid to spray paint metal! Just wipe very clean, do two coats but allow them to dry in between. Voilá, like new!
For the final touch, we added the prize that Dino won at our party:
a party pooper light
(which, by the way, would make a great stocking stuffer). It's a must for any bathroom.
This might be my favorite bathroom I have ever designed. It is simple, but has so much personality - and how amazing is that green color...may need to do
many
