This bathroom makes me incredibly happy, like so very satisfied and joyful and whew, it’s so good.
When we moved in, the bathroom had a huge shower leak and tons of mold so we knew we had a big ‘ol project on our hands. I try not to look at the before, but I will take one for the team and share with you...
During renovation, we decided to close up one door that led to the kitchen area and open the door on the other side of the bathroom. It just made more sense to have the door moved to the other side as opposed to by the kitchen table, rightnext to where we all eat. Nobody wants to hear you doin’ you your business while chowing down on a jicama taco, am I right? So, door moved and the flow is so much better now! We wanted to keep the Chateau Patrone look consistent throughout, and this was no different. I obviously had to add some shiplap for texture. Love the simplicity of shiplap but also how it makes everything look socustom, you know? From the prettiestgreyflooringto the warmth of thesinkto the sleek lines of thefaucet(both amazon finds!) , I think this little space is one of my faves in the house! AND! Theshower tileis just absolute perfection, it adds an organic feel but still feels really warm to me - the variations in each piece are just so, so good. Has any preggo been known to take a little nappy nap in the shower before? Asking for me.
Side note: We sourced the glass door from a local company. Our vanity is custom @erickcorsa - he does AMAZING work. So incredible. The finishing touches all just came together: I added in some super yummy towels from @oliveandlinen, gorgeous handmade bells from @muddyheart, and precious moon mirror from @laraandlou! The light fixture is @paynesgrayhome and they deserve a follow for just having the prettiest feed in all the land!
I
just loved making this bathroom so homey and each detail just makes me smile! Yes, even a bathroom can bring joy!
