Josephine the airstream renovation

Here she is. Finally. I designed her with functionality and sweet simplicity in mind. Major style while keeping things minimal. This project took so much longer then we expected. It was an amazing experience for us to go through though. We learned not to rush through the process, always think before you make a decision, and we grew wiser knowing what each other’s strengths are.

So heres the deal with Jo. She’s a 1964 International Land Yacht Airstream, 24ft long. She comes with a black and grey tank. New plumbing, all new walls,  laminate wood floors, tons of storage space, a day bed/twin bed, a cal-king bed, new propane tanks, new Dometic water heater, furnace, fridge, and oven. Designer Lucent light shop lighting throughout. She has all new latches and cranks, a fresh buff to her exterior, a farmhouse sink and delta faucet in the kitchen, gorgeous walnut counter tops, and a desk area. The tile has been grouted with flex grout so she is ready to travel!

We bought her with the thought that we would do a quick cosmetic make over. However; once we started working on her, we realized she had a lot of potential to be a dynamic space. It was difficult to find skilled workers that could work on her beautiful round edges, thus the long time period. But it was worth the wait!

We designed her with the intention to travel. But because we live tiny, we also know what we use and don’t use. Extra counter space and an open concept is a huge plus when living small. We would recommend this for a couple or even a family of 3-4. Jo would also be an amazing granny flat, guest house or Airbnb.

Jo is SOLD

She comes fully furnished with everything you see!

We can’t wait for someone to love her as much as we do!
